Don't worry so much. Even though people stop playing or new would choose Sims or kitchen simulator over Crysis haha (I mean those girls who were calling themselves Crysis fans and they left) - don't worry about that. Important thing is that people you talk about want to play. You, me, Frankie, Youda, Lukas, Comrade, Captain Tusubasa, and 5 other friends that I know and they always say - they won't leave - it's good enough. Belive me. I was playing Crysis in 2010, 2011, 2012 sometimes only with 1 or 2 friends for hours - it's good enough to have fun. So don't worry about the ammount of players.
Only sad thing here is that this game is 2 good to ignore it like that. Looks great, works great and is still evolving - but people ignore it (?). This is sad - but this also shouldn't depress us - it's kind of typical nowadays in all areas of life. 90% of population always choose crap music over good one - only because it's easier to get it and it's well promoted. They don't try to go deeper under the surface. This is the same thing about Crysis multiplayer now. This game starts to be understandable only by elites of players. It's useless for "gamers" who play 100 other games and just want to keel time. They have no time to even understand high quality of this game.
Belive me Crysis never was 100% perfect for me - this is why I make mods for it, change graphics to even better, movements of character to more natural, design new maps - but still when I try other mutiplayers for a while Bf3, Bf4, FarCry 3, FarCry 4, Crysis 2 or 3, Titanfall with it's parkour. Games where you have kind of open worlds, nice maps, nice animation and parkour that is not bad - after coming back to Crysis I just can't belive how much better everything here is, not only moves but also graphics from 2007.
So if people don't want to play it it's their problem not ours. I will do a lot in 2015 to promote it with trailers, gameplay videos etc. But I will not do it for ignorants - the idea will be to show the best things here to those who care about good things and are able to appreciate them :) Who would lose time to make things for ignorants anyway. Maybe I'm crazy trying to run it all for few players but I'm not that stupid :) I just know it makes sense even for few players. I'd like to see 150 players on servers like in 2013 - but if it's not possible 10-20 will be amazing anyway.
I got used for years that people don't care much about Crysis. My Crysis videos had always from 150 to 1500 views only. It was almost nothing comparing to BF3 videos 3 years ago - 150.000 some videos just in few days. And why was that ? Because BF3 was new and every kid was looking for BF3 videos instead of checking old Crysis 1. They just don't care what is good (BF3 is good but it's other storry) but they take what is promoted. People don't think on their own !!! They would eat crap if McDonald's was selling it in "happy meal" with toys - and had commercials about it. Most of people don't think at all. Buying iPhone only because some old Hippie decided he will control their minds with his dreams :) We don't care about brainless people. Don't we ? Remember that man before getting depressed.
So don't worry about all of that. We will set some "playing days / hours" for spring 2015 and don't mind ignorants. They almost killed this game finally 5 months ago - but hard times are gone now and people know it works fine - I have questions on youtube all the time about it. There are just many reasons people don't play. I'm sure more players will come. But than again - I don't plan to worry anymore. Crysis multiplayer will be always amazing place to come back after trying new games. Will be kind of "like home" here. Empty servers are not scarry for me. I like them :) Playing 4 hours a week with 4 palyers only - it's not a problem. It's fun.
And that spliting Crysis between GerCry and Our solution - I was saying that 5 months ago. I was by myself sending messages from Youda to DieAertze because Youda wanted cooperation. DieAertze was nice to me in conversations and I hoped they will work together at the end. But after all GerCry just ignored Youda and Zi. I couldn't do anything about it. GerCry just didn't want to work together or share things. I knew it will be a problem for Crysis MP but what could we do about that?
After all - It's better here and nobody has to pay for servers. You can run your own 100 servers with no costs and there it's not possible because there you would have to pay for each your server there - almsot 20 Euro for ONE, single server - and here ZERO Euro for 100 servers even. Full freedom. Think about it.
Saying that main problem for Crysis is this split for 2 solutions is not very correct though. Here you have more things to have fun with, unlimited maps and at least 15 servers now - instead of 4 there. But still as you see people don't play much. It's not about the split right now. Unless even you play there ;)
Stop worring about it. It's like in life you can make the best move or amazing music and most of people will never appreciate it because they don't care about good things anymore. Don't even bother to try them to check if they like them. At least we do and it's enough :) But I still belive some smart people will come in 2015. Just give it more time :) No hurry. Crysis is dead at least 3 years - remember ? That's what I've been hearing for last years :) People saying that in 2011 and 2012 :) Can be only better now.
BTW one nice thing at the end to Wake Up Man !!! If you play GerCry from time to time - As you were saying - you can't blame others that they don't play here. You just have no minimum rights for it :) You are the one who creates EMPTY servers here :) More than me - because even if I don't play for weeks (working on maps, videos or mods) at least I don't promote GerCry making their servers full of players. I don't have anything against them - because never had problems with them - and I don't know them good enough - but I don't see ANY really ANY reason to play there. I can't even have 1 server there because it's technically not possible :) C'mon. You call it Crysis there ?
Anyway think about it because you are not the only one who do this kind of stupid thing :) and complain at the same time - that there are no players here. You are doing even WORSE things than ignorants who say "servers are empty here - so why join" and they go play goat simulator.
Your actions are worse because instead of joining empty servers here and waiting for others to come (they always come after few minutes when) - you fill GerCry servers with players - Haha. Congratulations ;)
I know basic logic doesn't work for some of you guys. This is killing me every time more than empty servers or ignoration do. Really :) It's so sad it's almost funny. But it's nothing new for me. I'm on gamers forum not at the university - what logic can I expect. Young age is excuse I hope. So it's ok. But stop complaining about empty servers if you are the reason of the situation ;)
Anyway - Think, think, think. That's all you have to do if you want to achieve anything. If you care about Crysis choose between 2 solutions and play there. If you don't care about this amazing solution we have. It's your choice. Leave.
Me and few friends will stay here because only place where you can have own servers and no "gods" over your head makes sense for me and gives freedom of maps, mods and fun. Here everyone is equal and can have his own Crysis starting private server with any kind of settings - and nobody will controll it. Full freedom. This was always the idea of Crysis multiplayer for me. Just the same way we had in old Crysis for years. Without it it's not Crysis anymore. Good luck while choosing your way. I hope you will be happy finally.

Remember that Origin will give you always latest - patched Crysis. Version 1.2.1 (6156). So for those who want to have this version and play on 6156 servers - it's the best choice.
