I've been waiting for this opportunity. To tell my opinion about game mechanics. So I've been reading all these lame discussions about weapons since some time ago. Why the hell are you removing or blocking weapons that are part of the game and are needed to complete goals? That's ridiculous!
Gauss Issue: It's fair enough. It's not special! (You get more range and fire power with it; a lot), but you can achieve same results with it's counterpart. DSG1! Actually Normal Sniper Rifle is better. You get more ammo capacity and higher fire rate. Ammo velocity is well-balanced. Both have good fire power (of course Gauss is superior).
In fact, I will tell a couple ideas for this gun. It's 600 pp, worth. It should be 400 pp worth. Gauss is not so special! And it should be ONLY available in prototype factory (because it's an advanced weapon). For example, Hurricane MG. It's only available at Prototype Factory, same as TAC Gun or alien guns. It should balance gameplay very well on this weapon.
VTOL Issue: It's balanced, has good shields, is fast but is not easy to drive. Aiming is difficult; on higher speed the less accuracy. Price is good!
TAC Gun Issue: It's needed to destroy enemy bases! What about if we ONLY rely on mass destruction tanks. (TAC and Singularity). There will be NO <on foot> alternatives.
This game is about being proactive. It's not my opinion, you can read it, at Crytek's official webpage!
It's not about being fast, or cheatful. It's obvious that some users change speed multipliers. They can run faster without suit's speed mode, I've seen it!
We all have lost the north of this game. We spend time, complaining, demanding harmful "solutions" for this multiplayer. And you forgot; (or most people never knew):
Things are made and put for some reason. Crytek made this game with the exact optimal values, for each Item, Vehicle; Level Design, Interactivity, Prices and even memory usage (map sizes, textures, objects, ammounts, and so on).
So every time a player that doesn't accept defeat with honor, will say: "Oh, I don't want this weapon being used by other players because it annoys me!".
Then you will start, removing all items and weapons; so gameplay can be more comfortable for CERTAIN users?
What's next? No H.U.D. and no suit at all?!
This is bad! I'm very sure you have just started, killing this GREAT multiplayer and turning it GermanCrysis!
About the Radar matter: Come on! I'm saying it again. Everything is well balanced. Radar is good for short and medium range encounters.
Actually all fights and battles are at these distances. It only shows unit's position for some seconds and for limited range. It has only a radius of operation of 75 meters.
If all these things work different than said here, it's due to excessive modding and editing of this game. In fact, there should be no mods at all in this game. And it should be restored to it's default - original settings. When you really had to fight hard, to get some prestige points and items. And everyone happy.
Or we can use separate servers, ONLY for mods.
Of course official patches are welcome; glitch, bugs, and error fixing is necessary. Even the map creation, I think it's good for variety. I've seen some maps made by users, some are gorgeous, some are good, and others are simply lame, poor and ugly.

And you were right. Nobody here knows how to play Crysis. (Then everyone now has turned to Mesa Nostalgia). Or at least, they forgot how to.

And some Admins are BAAAD! They have lots of privileges, and use commands for their benefit. They can see all unit's positions in their maps; making unfair kills.
I exhort all of you to make a nice and fair play of this game, and bring more people to it. It's necessary.
