  Hello, everytime i try to log into the noobspot mesa server i get an authentication error 3, any idea? i'm using the steam version ( original ), tried to install the patches but i can't install them on w10

  Hello, you have the same cd-key as someone else in the server (or no cd-key at all). To fix it you need to change your cd-key. You can use anything as your cd-key but it must be unique and its length must be 20 (it can contain both letters and numbers). There are 2 ways how to change your cd-key: 1) Use Crysis cd-key tool. It is included on Crysis DVD. 2) Change the cd-key directly in registry. Here is location where Crysis cd-key is stored: 64-bit Windows: HKLM\\Software\\Wow6432Node\\Electronic Arts\\Electronic Arts\\Crysis\\ergc 32-bit Windows: HKLM\\Software\\Electronic Arts\\Electronic Arts\\Crysis\\ergc It looks like that Steam doesn't provide unique cd-keys every time because some other players with Steam version of Crysis reported the same problem.

  hmmmm... Steam probably inserts the key into registry when you start the game for the first time. I know that Steam checks several things before running any game, so it can set the key at this point. Nice catch and thanks for reporting it here. :)
