It seems your Crysis is not installed properly, so it cannot find it and update it. I think you should try to obtain patched Crysis directly. All platforms (GoG, Steam, Origin) provide Crysis patched to the latest version.
@LeafLookGT - I had the same issue, all you need to do is uninstall. then reinstall without copying the crack (Make sure the install directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis) then run the patches. Worked perfectly for me.
