And then we wait for multiplayer part later. Hopefully they're didn't just skip that.. But I guess it's still great to have a new singleplayer Crysis 2007 What's your theory? ;) why would it go on sale so soon?

Very good release date and here's why: August 7, 2020. We lost contact with Dr. Rosenthal a week ago, two days ago we received a distress signal from the expedition ship ... someone wants to find him. On August 14, 2020, a group of predators landed on Linshan Island.

Very good release date and here's why: August 7, 2020. Yes, great date, I like it too, this is my son’s birthday date, he loves this game.

@ TunSalat, if you remember news release and official announcement, it said Summer of 2020 and this week is the first week of Summer so it kind of makes sense if it was released any day after this week. Crysis frenzy is driving everything right about now. I was just in a crysis website with 600+ people logged on looking at the anticipated game release video in 48 hours.

Ah ok. He said "sale" so I thought he meant cheaper.. as in ehmm SALE. But why wouldn't it just be released tomorrow when the big day is? Maybe they need some hype delay after releasing the trailer

The delay to release a mediocre remastered game is indeed a very smart choice. I'm even surprised that Crytek or Saber is listening to the fan base if this is the case. The gaming community back in 2007 is nothing like the gaming community today. Todays gaming communities are organized and informed and driven by a highly explosive social media platform and any attempt by EA/Crytek for a quick cash grab with some half-baked remaster, will simply fail. Financially, they are not in a position to suffer another failure. EA/Crytek has expirienced one failure after another in just about all subsiquent titles after Crysis 1, but don't take my word on this claim just do your own research. So why even come back to Crysis 1? Because Crysis 1 put them on the map. Since then, they have failed to execute or follow up and fast running out of cash! https://twitter.com/Crysis/status/1278342913144033281?s=19
