Yeah. But I've just closed my Friday events 2 weeks ago for a while because for last 2 Fridays/Events - I was just waiting on IA fight event with Comrade for 2 hours and nobody came for more than 2 minutes. And as you know 4 weeks ago there were 15 players fighiting IA there (

But if you're talking about waiting on MESA / PS - yes. You can be sure that there the chance is 100 times higher.
And you're not discovering America saying that people are not joining empty servers. We're doing this for 4 years here and this was the first problem we've discovered right after starting the network. We've seen the problem alredy in July 2014. And we've got tired of asking people to join empty servers :)
This is exactly what I was saying on YT for 4 years to people (you can check it on my channel in comment sections. I did it probably over 100 times), encouraging people to join and wait even on empty one. I was saying exactly that people are scared of ghosts on empty servers, they have no idea what to do on empty server (even though there are many things to do for at least 1 hour including wall jumping, driving, flying aircrafts, exploring, fun with commands) and
they always were saying "game is dead, nobody plays on servers".
They didn't understand this is only their fault. Because if they would join - others would follow. But talking about it and waiting didn't help much. Yes it helps sometimes but not always as we thought. And not in dead periods.
This is also why
at the top of CryMP.Net servers list I've put almost 3 years ago this text:
"
PLEASE ENTER ANY SERVER AND WAIT FOR OTHERS. Players should join you in few minutes."
Which shows up automatically when all servers are empty. But of course it doesn't work either. Nobody follows this request, only our active players who would join anyway becuase they want to play so much. But doesn't work for random players - tested for over 3 years.
You can't controll players and make them enter the game. Especially when they see 2-3 players on servers list - for 80% of random people it's not enough to join even in this case. They are scared to die since they are more exposed in a group of 2-3 players. They would join if they could see 6-8. This is what Events were for since late 2014 (worked out from time to time as you can see on our Events videos

BUT feel free - You can wait for 2 hours on MESA server during weekends - of course the chance somebody will join will be higher there (just because of MESA - won't work on IA servers)
but to make people JOIN (even just the most popular MESA or BEACH) and
make them STAY there for longer than few minutes - it's
a different thing. Most of the time they will join, die twice and leave.
I'm talking of course about dead period now. But sure you can try even now. Maybe you'll get lucky. If not, I hope you won't get bored and leave the game yourself like many huge fans and pro players did years ago, just because fighting with 6 players wasn't good enough even for them. (in my opoinion for Steel Mill / IA - 4 players is good enough)
So you can try and good luck. Remember that we will be always playing here even in 2025 but sometimes there are dead periods which make everybody a bit depressed and leave for a while. But after the break everything returns to normal and event with 12-20 players on server is back sometimes. Decide for yourself what to do. Take a break yourself now or work to make it alive in hard moments.
Start weekends with waiting on MESA of course :) The only chance for this dead period :)
